Role Overview
The Centre Head will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the preschool and daycare centre. This role requires a balance of leadership, administrative oversight, and academic supervision to ensure a positive and enriching environment for children, parents, and staff. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and approachable leader who can foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards of education, safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions & Enrolment Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective parents.
• Provide comprehensive information on programs, curriculum, facilities, and offerings.
• Conduct centre tours and effectively showcase infrastructure and learning environment.
• Explain fee structures, policies, and enrolment procedures.
• Manage lead follow-ups, schedule meetings, and drive admissions conversions.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and accurate completion of enrolment documentation.
2. Parent Engagement & Communication
• Maintain transparent and regular communication with parents regarding child progress and centre updates.
• Share information on events, activities, and important announcements.
• Address parent concerns and queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with families.
• Communicate incidents as per defined protocols.
3. Leadership & Centre Operations
• Oversee day-to-day centre operations ensuring smooth functioning.
• Supervise and mentor teaching and support staff.
• Drive team performance, engagement, and professional growth.
• Implement and monitor adherence to organizational policies and standards.
• Manage procurement, inventory, and maintenance of infrastructure and resources.
4. Academic Oversight
• Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum.
• Monitor program quality and recommend enhancements where necessary.
• Support teachers with tools and resources to improve learning outcomes.
• Plan and supervise events, activities, and experiential learning initiatives.
5. Administration & Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, admissions, and student data.
• Track and report enrolment metrics, conversion rates, and feedback.
• Document incidents, activities, and operational updates as required.
• Coordinate with backend teams for infrastructure and operational support.
6. Safety & Quality Management
• Ensure a clean, hygienic, and child-safe environment at all times.
• Implement and monitor health, safety, and emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards.
• Address childcare and safety concerns with sensitivity and urgency.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements in operations.
7. Crisis & Conflict Management
• Handle emergencies with preparedness and efficiency.
• Resolve conflicts involving staff, parents, or children in a professional manner.
8. Professional Development
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in early childhood education.
• Participate in workshops, training programs, and seminars.
• Encourage and facilitate continuous learning for the team.
9. Additional Responsibilities
• Take on any other duties required to support the smooth functioning and growth of the centre.
Qualifications & Skills
• Certification in Early Childhood Education / Child Psychology (Educational Leadership is an added advantage).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with leadership exposure.
• CPR & First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset with sound decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.

- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
