Role Overview

The Deputy Director – Training & Research will play a strategic leadership role in strengthening teaching quality and academic outcomes across the group’s schools. The role focuses on teacher training, curriculum planning, and academic development across:

  1. Early Years & Primary (CBSE)

    2. Secondary (Grades 5–10)

This position requires deep academic expertise, strong mentoring capability, and hands-on leadership in curriculum and pedagogy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teacher Training & Capacity Building

Design and deliver structured teacher training programs aligned with CBSE and progressive pedagogy

Mentor and coach teachers, academic coordinators, and Heads of Departments

Conduct regular classroom observations and provide actionable feedback

Lead induction programs and continuous professional development initiatives

2. Curriculum Planning & Development

Plan, review, and refine curriculum frameworks for Early Years, Primary, and Grades 5–10

Ensure alignment with CBSE guidelines, NEP principles, and learner-centered approaches

Develop academic resources, lesson plans, assessments, and enrichment modules

Integrate research-backed teaching methodologies and best practices

3. Academic Research & Quality Enhancement

Lead academic research initiatives to improve learning outcomes

Analyze student performance data and recommend instructional improvements

Introduce innovative teaching strategies, assessment reforms, and academic interventions

Stay updated with national and international education trends

4. Leadership & Collaboration

Collaborate with school principals and senior management on academic strategy

Support implementation of academic policies across schools

Represent academic leadership in reviews, audits, and academic forums

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 20 years of experience in the education sector

Strong background in teacher training, curriculum design, and academic leadership

Extensive exposure to CBSE curriculum (Early Years, Primary, and Secondary levels)

Proven ability to lead large academic teams and mentor senior educators

Postgraduate qualification in Education or a relevant subject (PhD or M.Ed preferred)
